In industrial production, used parts need to be cleaned every day, so choosing industrial cleaning agents has a significant impact on our production, product quality, and industrial efficiency. So, what should be paid attention to when selecting suitable industrial cleaning agents?
1. Pay attention to the type and nature of dirt on the parts. The types and properties of dirt on automotive components vary greatly, including solid oil stains such as sludge, scale, carbon deposits, and rust, as well as liquid oil stains such as lubricating oil and grease residues.
2. Prevent parts from being corroded. For parts that are prone to corrosion such as copper, lead, and zinc, as well as parts of precision instruments and meters, cleaning agents that are close to neutral, less corrosive, and have strong rust resistance should be selected.
3. Consider cleaning conditions. If steam heating conditions are available, high-temperature cleaning agents can be chosen. If manual cleaning is the main method, or if the parts to be cleaned are not suitable for heating, low-temperature cleaning agents should be used. When using mechanical cleaning and pressure spraying, select low foam cleaning agent.
4. Pay attention to the concentration of the cleaning agent. The concentration of detergent is closely related to its effectiveness. Generally, as the concentration increases, the decontamination ability increases correspondingly, but after reaching a certain concentration, the decontamination ability no longer significantly improves. The general concentration should be controlled within. If the cleaning agent concentration prepared according to the product manual is not ideal for cleaning, the cleaning agent concentration should not be increased, and other cleaning agents should be used instead.
5. Master the temperature of the cleaning agent. Generally speaking, as the temperature of the cleaning agent increases, its decontamination ability also improves, but after reaching a certain temperature, its decontamination ability decreases. Therefore, each cleaning agent has an optimal temperature range, and the higher the temperature, the better the cleaning. Especially for non ionic cleaning agents, when heated to a certain temperature, the cleaning agent will become turbid. At this point, the temperature is referred to as the "cloud point", and the solubility of the active agent in water decreases. Some components will lose their function due to thermal decomposition, and the decontamination ability will actually decrease. Therefore, the temperature of non ionic detergents should be controlled below the cloud point.
6. Master the usage time of cleaning agents. Disposable cleaning agents can be used multiple times, and their usage time mainly depends on the number of cleaning parts and the degree of contamination of the cleaning agent. Generally, disposable cleaning agents can be used continuously for 1-2 weeks. In order to save the amount of cleaning agent and improve the cleaning quality, the cleaning sequence should be reasonably arranged according to the characteristics of the parts. For example, first wash the main parts and less dirty parts; After cleaning secondary and dirty parts, the service life of the cleaning agent can be extended.
